Terms & Conditions

Seeing Sanguine is a workshop and mentoring education platform created by Sanguine Portraiture which is operated by Sanguine Studios, LLC.
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms” or “Agreement”) apply to all Workshop/mentoring orders. Failure to comply with these terms will result in your order being declined.
By booking a workshop/mentorship you are entering into this agreement and agree to abide and be bound by these terms and conditions. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us. Workshop and mentorship, for the purposes of these terms and agreements will/can be used interchageably.
Seeing Sanguine
  1. All inquiries regarding your purchase must be made directly to Sanguine Portraiture.
  2. Attendees are responsible for their own travel and hotel accommodations. Sanguine Studios, LLC is not responsible for travel arrangements to and from the workshop.
  3. Please plan to arrive on time and for the duration of the workshop/mentorship. Refunds will not be provided due to lateness or absence.
  4. No refunds will be provided for any unprofessional behavior that results in removals from workshop.
  5. Sanguine Studios, LLC reserves the right to adjust the location, models, and itinerary to best fit educational needs. Sanguine Studios, LLC will notify attendees of any change.

Payments

  1. Workshop fees must be paid in full at the time of purchasing, or unless otherwise noted through arrangements with Sanguine Studios, LLC.
  2. All payments must be completed within 30 days of the workshop. Failure to pay may result in loss of seat, as well as funds previously paid.
Refund Schedule
If you are unable to attend a workshop please contact us immediately. Refunds will be provided under the following provisions:
  1. If you need to cancel within 14 days of purchase: Full refund (unless the workshop/mentorship is starting in less than 30 days).
  2. Within 30 days of purchase: 50% refund (unless workshop/mentorship is starting in less than 30 days)
  3. After 30 days: No refund – credit issued toward future workshop/mentorship.
  4. No refunds allowed if payment is received within 30 days prior to the workshop.
  5. Last minute cancellations also include situations where a seat cannot be filled; no refund or credit will be provided.
Reselling a ticket
For attendees that cannot make the workshop, you may resell your ticket, Please notify Sanguine Studios, LLC that you will not be attending, and that you intend to resell your ticket. 
Attendees can transfer their ticket to another workshop only if the workshop is within 30 days, otherwise the above refund policy will remain in effect and you will be subject to the same terms.
Workshop Cancellations
Sanguine Studios, LLC reserves the right to cancel a workshop due to unforeseen circumstances, illness or other, but provide a reasonable amount of time in advance to make alternate arrangements for attendees. In the unlikely event that we cancel a workshop, Sanguine Studios, LLC will notify you as soon as possible and any fees or deposits received from you will be refunded.
Travel/Accommodation/Rental Refunds
Sanguine Studios, LLC will not refund travel or accommodation costs for cancelled courses. **We highly recommend that attendees purchase travel insurance for airfare, and booking a hotel with a free cancellation policy.

 

Image Usage & Privacy

  1. Attendees are allowed to use images for portfolio use only (website and online).
  2. Attendees are not allowed to submit images to magazines, exhibitions or competitions, use to promote a workshop, phtooshoot, or products for sale without permission from Sanguine Studios, LLC.
  3. Images shared on social media from the Seeing Sanguine workshops must tag Sanguine Portraiture.
  4. Upon this advisement and acknowledgement, attendees may be subject to legal liability if images are used in any many other than stated above. Attendees will be responsibile for all attorneys’ fees Sanguine Studios, LLC must incur resulting from legal actions necessary to enforce this agreement.

Filming/Recording Workshop

  1. Attendees must not film or record the workshop at any time without permission.
  2. Attendees acknowledge that they may be filmed and recorded for advertising, promotional, commercial and/or educational purposes for Seeing Sanguine.
  3. Sanguine Studios, LLC reserves all rights to take photographic or film recordings without the requirement for a signed release from any participants captured in any digitally recorded media.
  4. Attendees waive any rights to residual or additional income related to future sales generated from such recordings/films/etc. created from the workshop.
Liability
Sanguine Studios, LLC is not responsible for any personal injury or damage to property arising from incidents occurring at the workshop venue.
Sanguine Studios, LLC is not liable for any loss or damage of personal or professional belongings or equipment. 

 

Teaching Materials:

Sanguine Studios, LLC owns the rights to any teaching (tutorials/books/pamphlets) created for use during mentorship. Materials provided are for personal development and are not to be shared, posted, or sold to anyone, corporation, entity, etc. in any manner.


COVID
All attendees must show proof of a negative COVID test 2-days prior to attending the workshop. Masks will be highly encouraged by all attendees, but not required. Models will be encouraged to be vaccinated and also have a negative COVID test prior to the workshop. Attendees cannot hold Sanguine Studios, LLC responsible for any COVID related issues.
Agreement
The Contract contains all the terms agreed between you and Sanguine Studios, LLC and supersedes any discussions or other information previously provided concerning the workshops.
